Based at Cairnrobin Facility, Portlethen Aberdeen
Overview of Role:
Responsible for the planning and client liaison for the installation of marine equipment onboard vessels, offshore assets and some onshore bases primarily within Maritime, Coastal and Renewables sites.
Key Responsibilities:
- Detailed project planning including producing supporting documentation such as method statements
- Working with Clients to ensure optimal use of systems
- Achieving task level deadlines with good time management
- Creation of safety documents such as risk assessments
- Deployment of both software and hardware solutions
- Inspection & Maintenance of existing system deployments
- Working safely with an aim for zero harm
Skills & Experience:
- Previous experience in a similar role
- Knowledge of radio communication service and programming
- Experience with marine electronics, running cables, IT, etc
- Able to work autonomously using own initiative but also work effectively as part of a Team
- Excellent customer service & communication skills
- Highly motivated and organised individual
- Methodical way of thinking
- Ability to prioritise issues and tasks
- Able to work to demanding timescales, maintain quality of work and meet deadlines
Qualifications:
- English – Pass at Standard Grade or equivalent
- Maths – Pass at Standard Grade or equivalent
- Clean Driving License
- Computer Literate and good working knowledge of Microsoft Office
